Friday 18 April: Back out there

It was great to be back out in the field today, but it was a dog of a
day. Very, very little went well. This core was the one bright spot.
You can see nice banded sediment layers in as we slip it into a
storage box.

Tomorrow we'll make an early start, because we need to finish Rano Kau
and carry all our gear out of the crater.
